    Frequently Asked Questions

Files printed on-site use the CMYK process and colour variations can occur. The print run itself as well as different paper stocks all have a bearing on colour variations. We do not colour correct files.

Our machines have factory recommended papers, finishes and paper weight (gsm) so as a rule we only use our own paper stock.

Testing is recommended on all printers.

We do have some limitations as to the paper weight (gsm) we can print on in-store as well as the finish of the paper/card. No two print jobs are the same, so we prefer to discuss options directly with the customer once we have established the design or look they are after.

Edge to edge printing is not available on our digital printing services. Our
machinery will run a natural border around the printable area. If the look of edge to edge is required then the printed document has to be manually trimmed.

In most cases we can turnaround small print runs in the same day however larger print runs should be booked in advance. The turnaround time will depend on the size of the job and if the paper stock is available at the time. Allow a day or two for poster printing. The time frame of Custom Design and Print Jobs will be
advised to each client at the time of your enquiry.

We don’t keep customer print jobs on file. We require the file to be supplied each time for any new or pre-existing print jobs.

For general print jobs we require your files to come to us as print ready in PDF format. However, depending on your requirements some set-up is available at our standard printing labour rates. For Special Event Design we also collaborate with Creative Coconut Design through the design process.

Print ready PDF files are preferred as it embeds all the fonts, images and layout of your file.

We can print a range of poster sizes from the smallest A4 size (210mm x 297mm) to the largest A0 size (1188mm x 840mm) up to 230gm thickness.
