What colour matching process do we use?
- All files printed on-site use the CMYK process. Colour variations can occur from print run to print run using this process .The print run itself as well as different paper stocks all have a bearing on colour variations.
- Colour corrections of files is not available.
What glue do I use for my DIY project?
Our glue tape comes in an easy to use dispenser and gives a strong fix when you want to glue paper on paper. If you are looking for a stronger bond then our double sided tissue tapes or stronghold tape are perfect for light to heavy card. Our glue dots come in a variety of sizes and are perfect to attach rhinestones and embellishments.
Can I print on your paper/card on my home printer?
Testing is recommended on all printers.
Can you print on any paper or card?
We do have some limitations as to the paper weight (gsm) we can print on as well as the finish type (texture of paper/card). No two print jobs are the same so we prefer to discuss options directly with the customer once we have established the design or look they are after.
What is a die cut pocket?
Die cut pockets are made from heavy card that has been cut from a template, creased and folded to a decorative shape. It creates a pocket for your invitation or announcement and other inserts like RSVP cards, maps, and reception or accommodation cards.
Do you print edge to edge?
Edge to edge printing is not available on our digital printing services. Our machinery will run a natural border around the printable area. If the look of edge to edge is required then the printed document has to be manually trimmed.
Do you have my previous print job on file?
We don’t keep customer print jobs on file. We require the file to be supplied for any new or pre-existing print jobs.
When will my order be ready?
In most cases we can turnaround small print runs in the same day, however larger print runs should be booked in advance. The turnaround time will depend on the size of the job and if the paper stock is available at the time. This generally shouldn’t be any longer than a week, which we can confirm at the time of the order. Allow a day or two for poster printing.
Do you design and set-up documents?
We prefer the files to come to us as a print ready PDF, however depending on your requirements some set-up is available at our standard printing labour rates.
We do have various in house pre-designed templates and designs available to choose from for our specialty printing. We will look at each job individually and advise what options we have available to you.
What type of file/format do you require?
Print ready PDF files are preferred as it embeds all the fonts, images and layout of your file.
